Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

The Dawn of the Tiberium Age: ****: Look For the Dawn

Dawn of the Tiberium Ages (DTA) is a Tiberian sun mod that looks to recreate the game that started it all, Tiberian Dawn. In that regard, DTA is a massive success, with the mod capturing the look, spirit and feel of the original game. It does not stop there however, as DTA takes Tiberian Dawn to the next level, including skirmish modes and online support for fans.

Graphically, DTA mimics it's ancestral father perfectly, the charmingly simple graphics being recreated smoothly for the Tiberian Sun engine. Where DTA really shines is with the addition of the "enhanced" mode which allows the player to play with new units and new game modes, including a naval style of skirmish. DTA also boats a few single player missions, but these are few at the moment but there is promise of new ones to come in the future.

There a not many bugs, although the limits of the Tiberian Sun engine are shown from time to time. Despite this, game play is smooth and relatively bug free and balanced.

Anyone who grew up playing the traditional Command and Conquer game will love this mod, as it brings back the old style of Tiberian Dawn, with several pleasant twists.
