TEAR is a total conversion Single-Player modification to Half-life 2 which based on source engine. It takes player to the medieval world filled with zombies and other disgusting creatures.
The stroy:
Our main character Tabito is a travelling merchant in the lands of Mexiria. He decides to go a tavern in the town of Riverdale. There he gets in the middle of a fight, resulting in our hero being knocked unconscious. Believed to be dead, the tavern keeper decides to get rid of him but there is too much crowd on the street, therefore he throws him in the basement so he can burry his body in the night. After 5 days He awakes in the basement with a big headache and he can’t remember anything of what happened. After he stumbles around for a few moments he hears a growling noise, unlike he has ever heard before. He then sees the terrible creature, something that looks like a human but with a big parasite on him that pierced tentacles throughout the humans’ body...

Let this be a lesson. If you know that you will have a busy, near future, please refrain from promising folks something awesome and then just abandoning it. All you're doing is just teasing folks, getting up their hopes and crushing them, and ultimately, wasting everyone's time.

INFORM THE OTHERS
Tepcio's Steam profile links to his portfolio on the Interlopers forum, on which around Christmas last year he responded to a query regarding the end of TEAR thusly:
'Full-time job + university will be really challenging but I hope it is not the end of TEAR. I can't promise anything but I will do my best to continue on this project next year.'
I've now learned he has been working at the People Can Fly studio this year and currently acts as a level artist on Gears of War: Judgment.
Just thought I'd dump the latest info here for anyone else still clinging to faith that we'll see this beautiful piece of art brought to term.
