This is a single player Half-life 2 action and horror mod. The purpose of creating this mod was to recreate the tightly scripted and highly varied action of Half-life 2. The player must escape from a quarantined section of City 8 and meet up with rebels who have established an underground railroad out of the City. However they must traverse the Old Quarter quarantined after the Combine ruthlessly suppressed an uprising and cordoned it off from the rest of the City.

Hello all I'll just let everybody know about the progress of this mod and how it's going down
The mod will be a total of 4 maps. I'm dividing the 4 maps into 2 chapters with 2 maps each.
So here's the progress so far:
Chapter 1 progress:
Brushwork and basic mapping: 90%
Lighting and adding props/details: 80%
Scripted events and AI: 80%
Chapter 2 Progress:
Brushwork and basic mapping: 60%
Lighting and props/details: 40%
Scripted events and AI: 50%
So Chapter 1 will be due out in early February and Chapter 2 a couple of months after that.

Another dead mod.
Why would it be dead? Last announcement was made in this year's January, and the images look pretty decent.
I'm just worried about the existence of an exact release date that may not be met...
I really love mods that stick to the HL2 Enviroments since they are so atmospheric and fun to explore.
Following this! I know how difficult it is to actually finish what you start so I hope you go all the way.
Looks like you've been able to recreate the City 17 vibe quite well. Hope the gameplay is this standard too!!

Yes. Unfotunately the release date passed on the old one and it got a slew of negative reviews since it was "released" without a download. I wanted to make a different page for it then.
