The mapping is brilliant. Hopefully I won't be facing the same HL2 enemies with different models (change zombie animations, or perhaps make them completely different). The kick is a good concept, just doesn't look very realistic, and almost looks like the leg is clipping into the crossbow. Also, the kick looks like there is no force, perhaps make the screen shake around, like when you shoot the Magnum in HL2.Overall though, looks very cool and good to see progress.

Awesome, looking forward to it. About the kick, is it implemented in the usual hitting animation or can you trigger it by pressing a special key? Anyways, amazing work!

This music does not approach a Fantasy genre!: (

well I have many complaints, the critic I am. First of all, the mapping is so... disney. Its kinda bland, with no color variation, no big buildings, just brick and wood. Next, (and I'm sure you already plan to do this) Those fast zombies need a reskin. The slow zombies need variation in their ranks. And a rapid fire crossbow? First, needs a reskin. Second, maybe make it semi automatic with reloads? Just some ideas to be thrown out :)

And I HATTTEEEE the music lol

Don't listen to CaptainRaider, he's just jealous because he can never make a map like that.

I know the zombies are just placeholders so I won't complain about that, but don't make the kick a deadly weapon, from the video it seems that 2-3 kicks can kill almost everyone, but in reality my enemy would fall to the ground, but won't get killed. Even if I wear a big boot with nails on the bottom, then I may do some damage, but for a lifeless corpse who doesn't feel pain?

XD dude, its a helping opinion. I dont mean to critisize, and YES, he does map better than I can, but if he wants it as good as possible, what should I do? Keep quiet and just point out everything good? If everyone just comments how great it is, then there is no reason to improve, and therefore its not a good mod.

no, the trick is to complement AND critique, have at least on good thing for every 2 negative things.
as for the music, I doubt they are gonna keep it, sounds more like music to just play in the trailer.
as for the fast zombies and the crossbow, they obviously are placeholders, i'm betting that the maps will also get more detailed later on, right now it seems they are focusing on making it, then giving things a re-skin.
as for the kick, i like it powerful, if you are trained in martial arts, i'm pretty sure you could have some lethal kicks, but I think the kicks should send the enemy either flying or make them fall over, since a kick powerful enough to kill hits hard enough to make them move.

but I get this is probably just a vid demonstrating how the combat will play out, and so pointing out faults in textures and things that need re-skinned/re-modeled is kinda stupid, all that matters is how the level effects combat, and how combat works, and and that is all you should be focusing on when you critique this video.
