Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

The shield will be very strong, cause it will have almost no hull, at least that is the current status of our discussion about it.

Well, as the name of the video says, it is a "shield test", means, it's about the effekt! The shield mesh can be changed within a second, and it will not stay this way.

Gaunt123 Mar 27 2009, 5:51pm says:

Just wondering... Why is it a "Lantian" worship, when the Ancients were Alterans, and only the planet was Lantia. Atlantis probably came from located "at-lantia". Are all ancients then assumed to be from Lantia? Just saying.

And, I agree about the shields part. Most (if not all) ships in the show have really sucky hull. When you lose shields, that's it-game over. So it is more true to the show to have high shields low hull. I know that in the show weapons engines are brought offline before shields at times, but you can't bypass shields within the restraints of the original game.... Stupid Copyright laws.

zck2020 Mar 27 2009, 6:18pm replied:

Well, when you think about it, it could just be that the Ancients are known as Alterans in the Milky Way, and Lantians in Pegasus. Plus, just because the planet is called Lantia, doesn't mean there can't be an "At" in Atlantis.

Navitas
Navitas Mar 27 2009, 9:06pm replied:

Actually it's not so much that the hulls are weak, rather that the weapons are incredibly strong.

Consider the hulls of Tauri ships are composed of Trinium among other things, which we know is a damn tough metal. And those are still quite weak compared of what some of the other races posess.

The Shield looks beautiful however i agree with Spinobreaker, it could be a tad closer to the city itself. I'm glad you used the ORIGINAL Atlantis. In the show Atlantis has changed shape for example in the series finale for season 5 its got no connetion between two of the piers where as in previous episodes it clearly does.

Gaunt123 Well inhabitants of Atlantis have always been known as Lanteans, even in our own mythology regarding the lost city. In the show their whole race have been called the Alterans. Now Atlantis was the vocal point of the whole Alteran society while both in the Milkyway and Pegasus Galaxies. The inhabitants of Atlantis (the Lanteans) are those responsible for permitting the construction of new ships and technologies purely do to the presence of the Alteran High Council on Atlantis... Its like countries people in Germany are know as Germans and Those in Britain, British. So in essence the term 'Lantean Warship' is accurate. It has nothing to do with the evolution of the Alteran language.

Navitas. Nice answer. True, the hulls are VERY strong compared to what we have now... They just are week compared to the power of the guns...

Zck2020...And by At-Lantis, I literally mean... the name means the ship is AT Lantia. As in located there. If the Lantians came back to the Milky Way, and mingled with the people, it makes sence that they would describe the city sometimes as At Lantia. So 10,000 of language change (which it is odd, seeing as most aliens speal English... =)..) could change at lantia to atlantis.
