Description

The Predator-class assault frigate was developed in the early 24th Century alongside the Ravenous troop transport, which it compliments exceptionally well - whole worlds can fall under the bombardment from a squadron of Predators, followed by the ground assault provided by a Ravenous.

The Predator's wide wingspan can give it the impression of being bulky and unwieldy. While this is far from a deliberate illusion, an illusion it is - the Predator is in actuality a fast and nimble warship capable of outmanoeuvring even smaller enemy attack ships. Interlopers and enemies of the Empire often underestimate the Predator. Their death usually follows.

As a planetary assault ship, the Predator has gained a legendary and vicious reputation. Even the sight of its glowing maw of a torpedo launcher is enough to cause widespread panic among a planet's population. This makes the task of subjugating worlds for the glory of the Klingon Empire all the easier.
