I need that baby in my fleet. I kinda want to just see the baby refitted or to at least be able to have one final voyage with her.

I did like the Proxima class. The TMP variant with the sliced saucer was unpleasant looking.

But as for the Yorktown. I don't know why it was in the Enterprise era in Legacy.

The Yorktown was going to be in Axanar strategic operations as the stating capital ship.

As for it being in the Enterprise era it did make sense somewhat. TOS colourings with the NX01 aesthetic looked really neat, the NX class would have looked really cool with that get up. In fact it wouldn't have surprised me if the Yorktown design was done because of the designers dissatisfaction with the NX design.

That was why I said hint hint because you already have the model and stuff so you could add it/modify the model into a refit or have it be in a The Final Frontier version of the 3rd fleet in the Niagara's position.

I know, but I don't see it in actual release, so I'm not satisfied.

If they are going to add THIS vessel to third fleet, why not to add sensor variant to boost accuracy and provide very basic cloak and mine detection.

After destruction of Romulus and collapse of Romulan Empire - yes. All allowed.

In established canon - no. The USS Defiant was the only Starfleet ship equipped (legally) with a cloaking device, which was on special loan from the Romulan government in exchange for shared intelligence on the newly-encountered Dominion.

Before Ambarenya writes a multi-volume rant on the subject, let me say that much of post-Nemesis Star Trek's place as canon is on shaky ground at best, especially that surrounding the Hobus supernova, the destruction of Romulus and the events of STO.

At any rate, at this point in the timeline, under the terms of the Treaty of Algeron the Federation does not have access to cloaking technology.

I'm guessing there's a system type in the game now with a bunch of old ships parked in it, called "Starfleet Surplus Depot" that's run by a Race called, the Zakdorn maybe...
