White/Bright static screen Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Hey after starting a new game with the latest patch and quick fix i did the ship artifact mission first and obv. i got radiated since i didn't got any protection... well to make a long story short: i delivered the artifact, used money to heal radiation, but screen is still blurry/bright/white with static ''noise'' on it... i tried healing, sleeping, eating, smoking cigs but it won't go away any help please? D:

Revert back to a previous save and retry it.

Thanks man but it's been fixed... i kept playing with the annoying screen but after reloading a few times (becaues i died roaming around) the screen suddenly turned normal O.o

Might be a dead thread but seems i'm having the same problem now

Save and reload, or exit game and load You also can get a green hue if you saved with your nightvision on and died and then reload, however that is easier solved just tap nigthvision

I have tried the reload but i cant seem to get it to go away, in fact i couldnt lower my radiation anymore either

In 2.1 I once had the bug with the white noise screen effect persisting even after I was cured by the medic, and I managed to solve it, I just don't remember how. It didn't involve reinstalling though, so try walking around for a while, jumping from a higher spot then getting the medic to restore your health, sleeping, reloading, restarting the game, or any combination thereof.

Or you could try some blind stalker roleplay. It hardly gets more hardcore than that.

Had similar case when got irradiated with artifacts, then I got cured by medic and despite having no radiation I had white noise screen. I solved it by getting irradiated a little again - white screen disappeared in a moment.

you can see through the white screen by turn on the night vision, hope that help

The night vision thing works but not something i want to do the whole game, wonder if it has anything to do with edited files
