What's so good about the CS suit? Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

I've never bothered to try it, even in Vanilla, in Misery how does the CS suit compare to the Sun Rise Suit? Wind of Freedom? Exo? I see a lot of people here that like it.

If I am playing recon should I try and get the Wind of Freedom suit?

Wind of Freedom is the lightest.

Sunrise is medium.

Overcoat/Light/Heavy is medium.

CS is heaviest. If I were you I would pick: Wind of Freedom + Tactical Helmet. Or Wind of Freedom + Sphere M12 Helmet.

Well (if iam not mistaken) the CS suit has a nice balance between bullet + rupture protection and elemental protection... An Exoskeleton has one major downfall in this mod: it can't upgrade the sights to nightvision or high contrast...

WoF has 4 container maxed, Sunrise 3 after the new patch, so I´d go for the WoF.

The heavy overcoat is quite nice (love the recon-ish look), too. Weighs around 6 or 7 kilos fully upgraded. I edited it, so it has 5 containers max, 4 in the last upgrade tier. Sounds imba, but as a houserule, I only play with gasmasks and just 2 items that add protection, so combats are quite challenging

The CS only shows its full potential if it gets upgraded. It has 5 slots then, regenerates health and gives very decent stamina reg. Also it's better than the sunrise in every protection class (i think at least) and the high weight can be somewhat countered by the weight reduction upgrade.
Furthermore it only costs slightly more than the sunrise and (if you buy from Nimble ofc) comes with a Sphere headgear included and therefore has the best price of all suits in the game compared to what you get in return. (except ofc the inbalanced exo which nobody should buy who wants a tense and immersive game experience, since it only cost twice as much but has an infinitely better armor rating (really infinitely since you become practically invulnerable))
