I know the AUG is in the game I have seen Uncle Yar equip it before, but for some reason I haven't seen it once in any trader's inventory. I have also suffered from static trader inventories about halfway through the Jupiter quests. Most of the traders appear to only have a few different AK variants and that's it in terms of rifles. Now I contrast this with my previous experiences with the past versions of misery in which I never had a problem with trader inventories remain in this mundane stasis. I have noticed that trader inventories do change incrementally as you progress, however it's been a while since any of this occurred. I believed that once I reached pripyat Garry's inventory would be diverse and all would be right again. The problem is that his inventory is also just filled with AK variants. Maybe I have to get a little farther into the pripyat questlines? Has anyone else experienced a similar phenomenon?

All trader inventory is "unlocked" as you progress trough game - finishing main and sidequest lines (heli search, destroy bloodsucker lair etc.).
However, when you unlock some item there is still percent of probability when it will be showed up in their inventory each time you visit trader.

Only few rifles and other items have probability close to 90 or 100%, for other items you just need to be lucky to see it at trader each time you visit trader.
When you are outside of trader alife range or you reload game it "reset" traders items, so it counts as another "visit".
