So I was doing a bit of parkour during my first trip to the Jupiter plant and found myself on top of the crane inside the warehouse where you later descend to the underground - when I got a crash. Upon reloading my game I noticed the most recent save was an autosave titled "pripyat underground"... Have I discovered a shortcut? Are there others? I know there are vanilla shortcuts between maps but they are in impossible areas and require modification to reach, but I was wondering if there were any others you could get...naturally? |

I don't think so. Access to short cut means skip through story lines, don't know if that's good idea with already sketchy coding system with stalker game. |

I'm assuming that's why I crashed. Yeah definitely not a good idea during story but more cinematic for freeplay I'd say. |

You can do that trick early on and skip the story line, but it messes up your game. With the freeplay saves available on the forum, you can already go there or even start in Pripyat. -- Avoid using autosaves, use hard saves only.
