Quick-start new game file? Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Is it possible to tweak game saves to edit player money and such?

I've had a HD die on me, and my 10 odd hour Assaulter game is no more. I'm wanting to jump back into it when I reinstall MISERY, but I DON'T want to be slogging through the early game as a rookie again.

So if anyone knows of a way to start the game with a fat wad of cash so I can get a half decent suit and such straight away, that'd be really handy!

I have a similar situation. When drinking with Zulu, I die everytime, no matter if I eat or sleep before talking to him. So this is what I did:

1) I downloaded K.E.V.L.A.R.'s Black Road Extreme moddb.com
2) I downloaded the Spawn menu moddb.com

I then started playing and just spawned in any equipment you need, in my case it was my SEVA suit, the G43, a Colt1911, headlamp, batteries and ammo. Then from there I continued on freeplay.

That is the best way, since tweaking save game makes them easily unstable.

Misery's own built in spawner :

C:\Program Files (x86)\bitComposer Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\debug\xrs_debug_tools

Change -

[plugin]enable = falsedeveloper_debug = false

To -

[plugin]enable = truedeveloper_debug = false

Load up your game, pause (esc) and press S. Use the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\bitComposer Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\misc to find what you want, copy paste the item on the left ie zat_b18_noah_squad and where you want it on the right ie zat_b18

You've just spawned Noah at the Barge! I think leaving the location blank spawns it at your feet.
