Question on the topic of weapons Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Hello,

I have been playing Stalker: Call Of Pripyat for at least a month now, (i purchased the game because of my discovery of the popular MISERY mod), and i have got to say that it is the best mod out there for stalker currently (if you want your play through to be "miserable" that is). Of course it could use some extra additions like new maps, new weapons, etc yada yada yada (you guys here that all the time i figure)

My question is on the topic of weapons, however, its about adding them. Is it possible for players to add their own weapons and items into the MISERY mod on their own? If this is possible, and i hope that it is , could you give a brief explanation on how to do so (if it does not take up to much of your time).

I know it is possible but you gotta be very well experienced with stalker mods. Adding new weapon texture, weapon animation is difficult for me atleast.

I have contacted many other modders too, they supplied me with steps that I have yet to try because I do not know if misery will be compatable with these ways. Hopefully one of the devs responds

Its not that Misey doesn't have a nice specter of weapons, coz it has. New ones are always welcome . I hope they gona implement some new ones. I tried once, couldn't do it, my moding skills are weak, just a few tweaks here and there.
Just of curiosity what weapon would you like to add?

Well, it is actually a variety of weapons that i am wanting to add ranging from different calibers not yet existing in the game. I will list them once i get back from vacation . What i am trying to say though is that, is there way for us to put weapons in the mod on our own? without the help of the mods putting the weapons in for us? rather it be weapons, food, clothing, or misc items, i just want to know if there is a way and how to do so if it works.
