Greetings, I tried to make an item spawn mod for Misery 2.0 to play around with the new weapons and items (as the debug item spawn thing doesn't spawn every item in the game). Looking at some old item spawn mods and trying to merge them with Misery and the new items, I noticed that some of the old config files were gone. My skills do not extend far enough to make this kind of thing from scratch. Can anybody help me? |

A spawn menu would be good. Was hoping it would come with the game in all honesty... hopefully devs will release a patch/version with a spawn menu included, or provide a download link to files we can stick in that will create it. |

Guys chill - there is a spawn / debug mod already build into Misery. You need to go to: and change:
Then in-game you press 'esc' to go to menu then 's' to open debug menu. On right you have two text fields to type in item [section] names to spawn - they will appear at your feet (complete list of all items can for example be found in configs\ai_tweaks\xr_corpse_detection.ltx Oh - and turn of the on-scree debug messages you go to debug menu (esc >>> s) then in the left window you type 'hud off' Hope that helps. You could probably merge in newer version of the xrs_debug_tools. It has an upgraded spawner among other things. Forum.epicstalker.com
I think you would only need to overwrite xrs_debug_tools.script, ui_debug_main.script, ui_debug_main.xml, debug_cmd_list.script. Then winmerge alun_utils.script. It's implementation into axr_main.script, bind_stalker.script, stpk_utils.script should already exist. It does not contain Misery items in the spawn lists but those can be easily added in gamedata\scripts\ui_debug_main.script Note that this version lacks the debug hud toggle in options menu like it does in my mods, so like Trojanuch stated above, you'll have to type 'hud off' into the debug console. While on Jupiter and using old spawn menu type these in the fields, squad: jup_b47_merc_guard_squad smart: jup_b47 If you are using the new spawner ui with the dropdown list you will have to use the advanced tab and the method above. -- MDT's ex-scripting god. You can find squad names in gamedata\configs\misc\squad_descr_*.ltx. In CoP you need to spawn the squad section (Which will create the NPCs) instead of the individual NPC sections defined in the gamedata\configs\creatures\ files. Thanks. Is there any way to essentially replace a character if they die? By that I mean I've tried to spawn Noah, but he acts as any other Stalker does and wanders about the map aimlessly instead of staying in his Ark. |

Yeah it always best to accompany npcs, just like topol, uncle Yar etc...

He died near the end of the pipe, where it go underground. It's halfways between izmudroye and skadovsk. |

Seems like a logic problem then; it's broken now. When you spawned him at Skadovsk it probably teleported him to izmudroye, but since you already triggered the info portion that makes him run to Skadovsk, he won't do it again. -- MDT's ex-scripting god.
