anyone find the green dragon? sniper class

Think I managed to nail down its coordinates in Pripyat:

400.985382080078, 28.366361618042, -180.685073852539

From the all.spawn file.

It is hinted by Trapper in Yanov Station where he says you have to head west of the station and it'll be there. I'm assuming it's somewhere near Kopachy but I recently searched the area but no signs of the rifle there. I literally searched for every nook and cranny and it ain't there.

It's kinda crap how the description is a bit vague.

The rifle is strong, so it's gotta be hard to find. It WAS under the Cement Factory bridge, but now it's in Pripyat.

Hmm the location for the Green Dragon on mine is supposedly in Jupiter. I'm using the Sniper class and right now classes each have different loot/stash spawns so it's pretty weird.

If someone finds plz update I wanna try it out!

I think I saw something like it in Pripyat, but a burer was there.

I'm actively searching west of the stalker base in Jupiter an npc told me somewhere west.... im combing the area and will report back if I can locate it.

After an hour or so of exploration, here's a diagram showing the possible location(s) of the Green Dragon for the SNIPER class in JUPITER. Hope it helps.

You would think it would be in that big house as a sniper mission takes place there... very fitting but I haven't found it.

My biggest fear is that the npc is lying to us and I waste all my time searching when its not even around there.

I've spent another half-hour double-checking the area around Kopachy and I've yet to have any luck finding it. My next bet is that it's somewhere near the Ash Heap anomaly NW of the station or the Drone crash site beyond the anomaly.

I'll check on this later but now I need some sleep.

I've looked up there and found a predator drone.... Now whenever I try to return to yanov my game crashes I can't even get close to the building

The Duty leader tells you about an assault weapon near the Ash Heap anomaly, maybe it is there?

Well, i'm a sniper, and trapper said "go west of yahnov" so kopachy is a probable bet, or the entire area that dotkaizo put in red.

That's probably not it, the green dragon is supposed to be a sniper, plus ash heap is a bit to far north but you never know

thanks for all the help guys ! nothing yet sad to say and dotkaizo your awesome for the map i have searched all of the red zones and the green zones spent 3 hours looking! alotttttt of stashes in kopatchy bit no green dragon! the only place i have not searched was high in the trees but i cant see why the dev team would put it up there?

My bet is that there's a npc that actually owns it, just like the FN Fal paratrooper can only be obtained by killing the hunter leader in Zaton if I remember, so maybe there's that as well...

i guess all just start killing everyone till i find the owner of the green dragon haha ! stalker/terminator walk! kill anything that moves including duty, freedom,stalkers,scientists,mutants,guides, just not the traders! all be saving the game alot

Just look for their primary in the back of "important" npc's, you'd find some interesting stuff
I'd like to explore these areas and everything, but I just got out of that "I'm trying to get more than 50ru" phase

thats a good point nykrint! i hadnt thought of that! i guess a few hours of observing and robbing people! how do you stick up someone? i have yet to try and rob another stalker

No one found it yet wow.... I was really hoping for some good news by now!

i found a pretty good 338 lupa - forgot the name, but no green dragon

I've looked all over Zaton and Jupiter around (and in!) every tree, inside every brush, in every building, ruin or pile of rocks and have only been able to find two unique guns (FN-2000 with eotech and Strelok's SG). I found the AKM on top of the gas station but I don't feel it counts as there are loads of those and a regular FS-2000 east of the large bridge near the waste plant. I too had the note saying the Green Dragon is located west of Yanov (playing as Assaulter), looked all over the zones that were posted above including hard to reach ridges and in anomoly fields as well as the AA complex and didn't find it. Has anyone had any more luck in finding unique weapons than I have?

Seeing as most of the weapons I am finding in caches are assault rifles and I am playing as an assaulter, could it be that the Mistery team actually meant to make caches generally oriented towards the specific class that is being played ...

I found the FN-2000 on a stalker at Zaton. He sought shelter at the Skadovsk during an emision. Bought it for around 21000. It was a in a pretty bad condition. The FS-2000 (version that can mount a grenade launcher) is not unique and can occasionally be found in Jupiter. Might depend on the class you are playing.

Even though I have sided with Freedom Hawaiian's gear is of really low quality (only selling simple shotguns and the like) and the prices for buying are high and selling are really low. Owl is much more profitable for making cash off of firearms and other equipment.

In what area are those coordinates supposed to be? Is there even a coordinate system in the game to narrow it down or are those coordinates only used in scripting? (never really paid attention to that)

You can sell gun to the medic guy in Jupiter for a lot more.
Also i have found you can buy the pelts/hides from hawaiins or the stalker guy in zaton and sell for a profit to Owl or the medic in jupiter.
