Fraiser Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Playing recon I just got my hands on this thing and I gotta say it's a nasty customer. I dropped a pseudo giant in two magazines (two upgraded mags at that) of hydra-shock .45 acp. That fire rate, how good it handles, the low recoil and the combination of .45 cal? makes it quite the monster up to around fifty to a hundred meters.

45 acp with hydra shock has really high damage aganist mutants like really really high

and the fraiser can dump that magazine in record time. Not to mention it hits a little harder than the ump 45 and has the mp5's rate of fire. More accurate better handling, ect, ect.

On a random note trappers maverick 88 is hilarious, it's a goddamn sniper rifle with accuracy upgrades.

Trappers maverick should have some high level of accuracy since it seems to have a longer barrel than the sawn off or the mossberg, also shotguns are really accurate in real life

Yeah Fraiser is beast...

I'm using it sometimes as second weapon for Assaulter, it is heavy but Assaulter has highest carrying weight.

And yeah Trappers Maverick 88 is strongest and lightest shoutgun in the game, since Saiga got toned down.

Frasier is absolutely best (actual) SMG up to date with outrageous rate of fire coupled with deadly .45 ammo. I'd say there are still weapons that outperform it in both stalker and mutant killing role, but it's a great backup weapon for any class, really (especially if you can carry more weight when wearing Exoskeleton, for example).

Frasier's always been crazy OP by nature. It's almost a sin how easy it is to aquire ASAP, too. It was easily the highest DPS weapon in vanilla, outdoing even most NATO rifles.

The only thing about it that really puts me off is that it feels like they took the lazy way out with this gun. Its like they wanted to make the Kriss Super V, but then were like "Eh, do we really wanna make more than one SMG model?"
