Bug when going to Pripyat Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

I just went to Pripyat and after i climbed up the Ladder, I spawned at the Bottom of the Map (Can't jump/move ect.)

If you have steam versions go to your library properties and press validate local files... it should redownload a few things. I hear this fixes it i dont have steam version so i dont know... hope it helps

i have the retail

me too....so i cant play...again....

i suppose i will try and reinstall stalker and misery hope it works

yes it worked try reinstalling everything that fixed it for me

I have that bug too, retail version, and last version of Misery, it's very frustating not being able to move on after the ladder because of a bug ...

I answered this in another forum:
If you are using autosaves you have to make sure the game autosaves with "arrival at pripyat" before going up the ladder. Trying going back out of the room with the ladder in it and into the long corridoor next to it, waiting a few seconds, then going back to the ladder. If you get the autosave run along the bottom then you're good to go.

Alternatively you can try turning autosaves off

I know this is an old thread, but I ran into this same bug the other day, and this might help others to fix theirs. For me what worked (and I had the EXACT same bug as you), no joke, simply fully exiting CoP and relaunching it, then going up the ladder again. Took me to pripyat just like it should have the first time. Might save some people a reinstall
