1. What is the best armor for artifact hunting? 2. How does the SSP suit with the built in helmet compare with a separate containment suit + separate SSP helmet? 3. Thanks. What is the 2nd best after the SEVA that is accessible for people in Zaton/Yanov? I think from the other threads, Misery disables buying the SEVA suit until you reach Pripyat. Yeh, I know a good shotty offense is the best defense. But I can't kill a pack of 6-7 dogs all at once and sometimes I'm not near a rock/tree to climb. So...what's the suit with the best rupture protection? I also like to roleplay sometimes so I only take the 2-barrel shotgun and a weak sidearm when I'm hunting mutants. Edited by: Intranetusa |

no, you need seva for underground pasage to pripyat, then in zaton SSP 99 for art hunt , just hope you will not found yourself in fight when wearing it against pack of dogs only exo can save you in open... there isnt a good suit for that... so try to avoid pupies... or run and use mines... you just cant expect to survive pack of dogs in the open... so any suit will do. (the dying part) i prefer CS-3 for 3 art slots, and solid armor properties if it was posible , in game , i woul use my own lunch as bait and stick a grenade in it.... something hard to chew for the dogies |

Exo-suit with 2 flames work too with minor damage to the armour, this because the exo suit has 6 bars fire resistance to begin with. For a recon you best off with a freedom suit with 3 eyes/flames. -- Avoid using autosaves, use hard saves only. Exos sounds awesome...I wish Misery still let you buy it from Nimble instead of disabling it until late game/Pripyat. |

A good reason why it came so late it makes you literally immune against small fire arms (9mm ammo and shells). Mercs however still killl you easily even with 2 flames, since they target the head area a lot more then bandits. Also they always use armour piercing rounds. I didnt know that descriptions are wrong for those artifacts, but somehow i always suspected that something was wrong that higher rank artifact of same type has lower def stats. |
