Basic Tool Kit (and kits in general) Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Have toolkits been moved to completely different locations when compared to the vanilla game? I've yet to find a Basic Toolkit in both Zaton and Jupiter, but a found a Calibration Kit at the location where I would normally find the basic toolkit in Zaton??

If anyone has some insight into this, that would be great.

Yes

Tool kits are COMPLETELY relocated. Their locations are very much detailed in this forum though, do some digging! Keep in mind their location depends on which class you play, ie recon toolkits are in different places than sniper. One thing they do have in common is that they are difficult to get; they are normally in 'boss' areas guarded by many mutants.

iv'e found the calibration and fine work toolkits for Cardan but

after SIX HOURS of painstaking searching ive yet to find the (insert bad words here) basic toolkit. even with the other toolkits the game works if you dont have the basic you cant do jack *censored*

Its an encredibly easy youtube search. I understand that some players want to stay true to the whole searching things by themselves, but if things are taking that much time and frustration to find, then just do it. Those tools arent even a major story based mission. 3 minutes of a youtube video and you will have those locations.

The location of toolkits depend on what class you picked!

as far as I know the Basic and fine tools are at the same place, and the calibration differs with class. I played trough as assaulter and now again as Recon and have those confirmed locations so far:

Zaton basic - Ranger Station up the small ladder to the left if you go trough the main gate where the Duty trader deal is going down
Zaton fine - under stairs on way to the lab @ iron forest
Zaton calibration (assaulter) - on the small table in South East corner at ground level
Zaton calibration (recon) - on a red container @ sawmill, at the higher ground
JUpiter basic - open container in the room where the burer is chillin, AA complex
Jupiter fine - far west of the map, behind a small garage behind the strange construction where streloks stuff is hiding, on the way to jupiter plant (snatch and grab on cocain or bring plenty ammo & rifle granades)
Jupiter calibration (Assaulter) - opposite to the entrance of jupiter plant, in the back of the greenish trailer
Jupiter calibration (Recon) - 2nd floor at the bandit bandit checkpoint - could have been placed in a harder spot in my opinion, since the bandit mission is pretty simple and usually I do it even before the iron forest and waste station to get a nice rifle and cash for decent suit

Haven't made it as sniper yet
