Coming from a playthrough of Misery 1 into Misery 2.1.1, I see the old feature of asking friendlies to accompany you in the Zone is gone. I used to love this feat because it gave a tangible consequence to your achievements ("Friend of..." Stalkers, Freedom, Duty, Bandits, etc), besides being a plausible feat by itself - if you're undercover between stalkers, nothing more logical than actually accompanying them on stalking ( besides being safer for yourself).

Is this feat planned to make a comeback somewhere along the way ?

Would love to see this too, maybe they disabled it to make the game harder? Can we enable this feature again by modifying the files? :D

Best is paying them to take you(teleport) to another location on a map. The idea of removing this was to balance the game I would imagine. But I could be wrong.

Typically though, you can just tag along with NPCs and they do not mind the company =D

But I want them to follow me so I can lead them into anomaly and loot them >:)

I think it would be better for them to not enter anomalies. Otherwise theynwould be easy prey for such bad stalkers as TheBlackCat.

That feature was conflicting with some other things and causing CTDs. Misery is merge a lot of cool features from various moders, so while some of fetures works just fine with each other some doesn't. At some point in development team has to make decision what feature to keep and what to abandon.
Don't know all details, I joined team while 2.0.2 was in development and that stuff was removed much earlier. Don't know will it be added or not in future.
