Some of the differences to vanilla Diablo2:
-max lvl is 500 instead of 99
-max skilllevel is 60
-complete new frontend with new look and feel
-new and fresh user interface
-resolution switchable between 1024*768 and 800*600
-display of mf, gold, exp, ias, run, fastercast, magic resis, phyresis

almost one of the best mods with one problem only. there are no new skills, if there was to say, new skills like median your mod you have been on #1.
press "t", u see on the right four symbols, three of them are standard-trees that u know and one is currently not clickable. ;)
know that snej is no total conversion.

The awesome Features of this game:
Requires 2 instances of Diablo 2 to run. So you have to exit the game TWICE!
Everything is UNBELIEVABLY expensive!
Requirements to use weapons, armor, quivers, rings, amulets, ect ect, are increased dramatically!
Monsters are much harder in the beginning.
Starting hit rating seems like -75% since it's hard as hell to land a single hit against a monster that should die in 2 strikes. Instead you have to swing at least 40 to 80 times to kill one monster!
Areas are bigger, which is good. But since the game wasn't designed to for that resolution, it WILL stutter and glitch ALOT!
Sure the money gathering in the game is good, but what good is it if you can even use what you buy? You can use a simple and crappy club at level 20.
If you like a good mod with a good start that'll give you a chance, then this mod isn't for you!
If you like starting off with barely anything to work with and enjoy enemies that can kill you 5x faster than you can kill them and where your limits have been increased, then this mod is for you!
SERIOUSLY! Not for easy starters! ONLY for players that love playing against Death.

im really speechless.
1. The dualstart is a optional FEATURE to allow SP player to mule with themself you have checked it yourself on startup. Its not necessary at all.
2. Expensive and stuttering may be your machine choking on the 2 instances that you not need ^^
3. Level requirements are high on startup thats true but its because Snej has a endlevel of 500 and the itemlevel is only cappable of 255.
You levelup really fast and so leave this region fast too.
Snej is in fact a really easy mod. The first level you get killing 1 or 2 monsters. after 2 levelups you hit the monsters in startregion easy enough and if you read the start of the storyline you know to go to evil den entrance and get your equippment.
Please dont give wrong advice of things you really not understood yourself. If Snej isnt for you dont play it thats ok but dont tell wrong things.

Hi,
a Mod is when the Skills get changed?
I dont see this point, because Snej gets its position between LOD and D3
from the comming storyline and the new landscapes comming. It IS D2 and it should be D2 Median is near to a complete conversion some people want new content but dont want an other game. Median is a god Mod no complain, but its something different.

i think median is one of the best mods, it is the complete opposite style of modding. so if you want a new game play median. if you want diablo 2 with new content peering hard to diablo 3 play snej.
