A rehaul of the Homeworld 2 Star Wars: Warlords mod that will take advantage of the Sins of a Solar Empire engine to provide a larger strategic theater and will adapt the gameplay to best fit the newer engine. The current public version works for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion 1.80+ and all DLC.
Sins of a Galactic Empire 2.0E will be out by January 10. We're aiming for a release by new years; though due to delays and what have you, the 10th is the guaranteed date.

I guess this page has gathered some dust for the past few years hasn't? It'll be getting more lively in the near future, or so I hope, due to the pending release of 2.0E! That's right ladies and gents, after around two years since the release of 1.0E, SoGE is finally getting another release. Sins of a Galactic Empire 2.0E will be out by January 10. We're aiming for a release by new years; though due to delays and what have you, the 10th is the guaranteed date. The next version will have numerous changes, too many for me to list in a single post, though I will say it has the following:
-Two new factions! Have you ever wanted to play out the New Republic - Yuuzhan Vong war yourself?
-Many new and unique planets! Kudos to NovaCameron for creating that mini-mod.
-Stability; no more ingame save-corrupting minidumps
-Fixed up and improved military research trees
-Many balance tweaks
The subsequent full release will feature redone weaponry, in order to include real ion cannons, and better frigate stats. Unlike the 1.0E -> 2.0E gap, there will be patches over time. I, sloose, and Nova have been at this for nearly a good year now, and we hope you will enjoy 2.0E when it's out as much as we have enjoyed building it!
