Greetings all earthlings, this is Lauri from everywhere.
This mod is an Add-on for EA's wonderful game, The Battle for Middle-Earth™(BFME). It is about the time when the ring is destroyed and the four hobbits, Peregrin, Meriadoc, Samwise and Frodo return to the Shire, laying in ruins. While the war was active in Minas Tirith and Mordor, Saruman, a.k.a Sharkey, had persued Threebeard to let him go. And then he went to some wildmen and got them with him to lay the Shire in ruins.
And when the four travellers returen, they make their stand against Sharkey. They summon the Hobbits of the Shire and defeat Sharkey, once and for all. But now, you decide who will win, halflings or wildmen......Well, the Wildmenn might be added in a later version, but probably not the first....

New BETA is released! >>Download here<< There isn't much new in this BETA, but it is better to play with. No new models or skins either, except a hobbit farm, but the biggest threat is now dead... the random game.dat bug :grin: I will upload the new BETA to the mod's profile in a few too, expect it there later...
anyways, enjoy, and don't expect a new beta in a while :p

The newest beta won't work for me!!!
excellent mod but it doesnt seem finished
is actullay quite gd i luv the hobits but cud u make it so i can use thm wiv evry mod
just give use the ini file for example
ive been playin on this mod all day it tottally rules
but with out v hero v hobbit wud die instantly
i think seeing as mentioned in the 1st book the hobbit of the bucklands i thinkit was fought back the trees of the old forest cud u not mak them sum kin of elite elite troop really strong lumberjack people not unlike dwarfs i guess maybe with axes or mases
because at the moment im using the gondor troops i get at v begingin witch is a bug to win all my fights
ur mod suck it dosnt even work so you should do something
really wierd.... are you sure you use the Scouring of the Shire shortcut, and not the regular one? :P
if not, read through the installer again, and check that you did all that it said ;) and if your other mod is Elvenstar, it does bug up mods, but it wouldn't show the original game then....
i downloaded and installed the mod, but everytime i click on the shortcut, all it does is bring up the normal, un-modded version of the game, with no hobbits or anything!!! :O what am i doing wrong??? plz let me know!
when the first version of the mod is released, will it come with its own shortcut, and will i be able to hav this mod and another mod for bfme1 on my computer at the same time? plz help me cos i really want to try this mod but i must NEVER part with the other mod! :p

anyways, I live, mod lives, yeah... just go to the site, then the forums, and vote if you want to have the mod "now" or later ;) didn't knew I had fans :P
