Description
Part of the X1 system, this is a random encounter at X class planets. For people with the DLC, the probe will leave after a while, mysteriously disappearing.

Is this a random phenomena in the mod or something?
psychoak is in charge of implementing it. It started out as a random event for ocean xclass planets, but may be only a DLC random event as they will eventually leave the planet well after a time. The AI players need to be able to deal with these threats without them being game breaking for them.
After many games waiting for this thing I decided to spawn it in the Dev version. It's amazing, It actually managed to disable an entire borg fleet except for a few assimilated vorcha class ships.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to spawn the Doomsday machine and Chrystalline entity.
