Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

No, SWR has a policy of keeping their content unique to their mods and their mods only. Sorry.

Unless SWR allows their stuff to be used by others UNDER PERMISSION...

Doesn't really happen very often, though. The one exception is if you are not going to distribute the mod you make to anyone else (and that means anyone), in which case you're free to use SWR assets or just about anything else however you like.

This is dumb, the Patriot is better.
I mean...LOOK AT IT it's shooting from the ground!
It's some Ground-to-Ground rocket system...
The Adv. Patriot is better. :(

No offense,
Flot

P.S. Still love your work. :(

The vertical launch system (VLS) arrangement allows for easier reloading and better protection. It's not just a 'SAM that shoots ground units' - think of it as an emplaced version of the real-world ADATS:

Would you like to be out there with a scrubbing brush and a can of paint in the middle of a Russian attack? If so, volunteer for the U.S. Army Sanitation Corps today!

Actually doctrine for the Mk 41 Mod 2 VLS is to sweep away the missile blast residue after combat operations.

The cell hatches get replaced every few years or so.

Honestly it's a bitch having to trouble shoot them... If a hatch is bad you have to call in a Tech Rep so they can tear down the hatch motor, install a new motor, remove the hatch, replace the hatch, apply caulking, and do tactical opening tests.

I should mention, the blast residue contains numerous heavy metals and carcinogens.

Description

The Protector is the United States’ twenty first century approach to defensive warfare. Originally a naval missile platform meant to combat aircraft and ships, this AEGIS variant can be constructed in virtually any terrain. The Protector is substantially different from the old Patriot. First, it fires its missiles vertically allowing it to shoot down aircraft and missiles with more ease.
Second, it’s able to fire from behind obstacles such as structures and terrain. This allows the Protector to defend an area without actually exposing itself to enemy fire. It’s unknown at this time how the reloading and supplying of this defense happen as the Protector is completely unmanned. Military experts claim the Protector has a doubly redundant self feeding mechanism underground. It is capable of storing enough ammunition and that during extended testing the paint was stripped from the outer casing by the missile exhausts.
