Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

This screenshot shows off the new model for the Little bird which has been improved with a three-barrelled rotary cannon that can pitch downwards unlike the old model.
No! Do not replace our beloved 6-barreled chambers of death! :(
Anyway, new guns have great details.
Bullets coming out of barrels under 90 degrees angle look stupid, hence why the change. It doesn't really have the firepower of "6 barrels of death", so 3 are fine.
But you could just make those turrets but with miniguns.
I will miss them so much...(tears dropping from my eyes).
Super late, but think of it this way, the tribarrel miniguns are usually .50 cal compared to the 6 barrel usually being .30 cal
holy moly, this sounds awesome, but it only sounds awesome, because what it really sounds like, is a prequel, to Red alert, which is, AWESOME! like really?! come on guys! but, sounds, just as looks, can be deceiving, I have never played this, so I cant give my true opinion, but I can say, the models, are really well done, looks wise.
