Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
Since the fall of the USSR the Russians economy
has been very weak and barely able to manufacture
its needed goods and supplies, therefore
Industrial Plants were ordered to be constructed
in such a manner that they could be placed on-site
with Military forces and withstand a beating from
enemy attacks. The result gave this Industrial
site better survivability and a hardened look. The
Industrial Plant can research important field
upgrades and reduce the costs of materials for
vehicles and aircraft.
So, it works simaly to the industrial Plant from RA2?
It works somewhat similar, this is the equivalent of any other "Tech Research Structure" just with a "Mass Production" upgrade that can bring down the price of all Russian vehicles and aircraft. Note that this structure builds the Arms Suppliers aswell - so this building is very important to keep up when you are playing as the Russians to keep your army going, make units cheaper, and to establish your late game economy.
