Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Black shark is the "offical" name of the KA-50
Hocum (Russian for werewolf) is the NATO reporting name,
so the "Werewolf" and the "Blackshark" are actualy the same helicopter

Ooooh... the Kamov. Arguably the most dangerous single seat attack helicopter -in the world-. Fear it. Or die. Miserably.

The WEREWORF is a prototype.

Yes it was. I agree with SWR team, the prototype is supposed to be an inferior version of the regular unit (unless it's the prototype of an upgrade of a certain unit, but this is not the case). So what if they mess around a bit with certain historic facts, what's so real about Generals anyways? Plus, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, especially if it's coming from SWR...

Ka-50 is not prototype. 1st flight in 1982; adopted for service in the Russian army in 1995.

wow, love dis baby!
this is one of the helis i read about,
russian yes?
so why not make a weaker version for the chinese? with upgradable gattling-gun/Speaker tower, i mean the chinese stole the Mikoyan -i- Gurivech (MiG) from the russians and edited it, so why not make a lighter version of this heli for the china,
(Just a suggestion)

the chinese get the han gunship. giving them only weaker russian copy-units would have to include giving them another name: russian-copy-forces or something in this way...

Description

This single seat assault helicopter variant is only used by Orlov's elite helicopter pilots. The Blackshark is able to perform strafing maneuvers to utilize its heavy machine gun and anti-armor missiles. Unlike the "Hokum" variant, the Blackshark is equipped with enhanced engines and equipment and is coated with a jet black paint job.
