Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

I can see where everyone is saying that each of these structures look too much the same but I must add that:

- Each of these structures is supposed to represent their corresponding role, thus why its based off of the hole and
- Each of these builings can be upgrades for the Sneak Attack General power

I personally like there being so many tunnels..it was always annoying as hell in Vanilla ZH and Generals that you always had to build tunnel networks which, lets face it mostly sucked. This adds alot more strategic flair to the GLA imo.

Agree on that. The GLA lacks airlift capabilities of other factions and this mechanic gives them an edge in logistics.

It'd be nice if the basic tunnel model were more varied. While it makes sense that they are all based on the sneak tunnel, you could try and make the tunnel more fortified in the actual "structures". One could be covered in dirt like the regular tunnel, one could be fortified as an actual structure et cetera.
Alternatively, you could create a number of sneak tunnel models and have them selected at random, similar to how the Technical uses a random model.

No offence guys but I think I felt some lazy work here. Why the hell all of the buildings have a damn hole? They look better if you remove them.Especially the barracks and supply stash.

We've made the new designs based around the GLA Sneak Attack holes in order to have units move around faster using nearly all of their production buildings. On top of that when a player uses a sneak attack tunnel it can be upgraded to any of these structures.

It's not that we're being lazy, we're trying to make the GLA even more mobile than before while keeping their structures made to look they were built from their tunnels with haste.

i agree with the ichigo-photo person that posted on the arms dealer pic:
the tunnels should have diferent stiles for each building and the tunnel structures should not have advanced base functions, like building advanced units and researching advanced upgrades. that should be for the permanent buildings. otherwise i realy loved the idea of making theyr structures into tunel derived ones.
