Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Description
The Y-7 is a Chinese copy of the Antonov An-24 and An-26 designs. It is used as a light transport by the PLAAF and is often utilized to deploy air-dropped land mines.
the wire antennae can also double as a drying line for laundry on the go
does this replace anything? or just used for the mines while the old cargo plane remains used for the tank paradrop and whatnot?
It is just for mines.
It has been added because it is more fragile than the former bomber, so mines are less likely to be used offensively.
Bit like the ECA Pegasus?
Kinda yes.
People placing mines in front of warfactories was such an annoying strat.
IT would be GREAT, if this mode will receive playable transport plane, like contra.
