An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

What does Apocalypse hope to scare if it's only slightly bigger then a Hammer tank?
Now this fixes that!

great work, too bad vanilla was not like the trailers... i was so excited when i seen them and i got the game when it came out and was like "this is not the game i seen" not that any other command and conquers looked like the trailers (well apart from renegade)but they came out at a time when games were very limited. today there is little excuse, also mods and indies seem to be getting better than what the pro game companies make :S

Alguien Aug 1 2012 replied:

Mods and Indie are "getting better" compared to official stuff because they dont have publishers breathing down they necks and dont have a release date as limits

Publishing companies. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

You are saying Valve and westwood/petrograph are wretched hive of scum and villainy?

Admiral_Tails Aug 25 2012 replied:

1. Valve is valve, and can hardly be included when grouping "Publishing companies" together (as they tend to do the exact opposite, with their games often releasing late, if they even do).

2. Westwood and Petroglyph were/are Development studios and not publishing companies. Westwood's publisher was Electronic Arts. Petroglyph is independent, but most of their games do still have publishers (for Star Wars: Empire at War, it was LucasArts, for Universe at War: Earth Assault, it was SEGA, for End of Nations, it's Trion Worlds).

Though one thing worth noting sometimes with indie games is that while you might not have a publisher breathing down your neck, many indie game developers don't have another income source, which can cause a rush of "release before you go broke". They still produce superior products most of the time.

Why thank you. I don't go on Moddb much anymore (as evidenced by over 300 updates when I logged on today) but I try to visit my favorite mods every once and a while.

Unfortunately real life takes priority now. Internships, school, etc.

As for the apocalypse. Bigger is indeed better for this tank.

Does it still shake the turret like it's on a balljoint when moving, or have you removed that? I always hated that for such a huge tank =P

d00msdaydan Aug 3 2012 replied:

That effect can't be removed but they have managed to slow it down so it looks more realistic

Just a little fun thing I did, I've touched up the Apoc model to resemble the original concept art more closely. It's also bigger... a lot bigger.
