An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
During the Second World War, known to the Soviets as the Great Patriotic War, the Anvil Heavy Tank formed the basis of the massive Soviet war machine. Rugged, dependable and easily superior to even the best of the Allied vehicles, the T-39 Anvil was feared by Allied tank crews throughout the war. However, time has taken it's toll on this mighty beast of war, and the machine was happily consigned to mothballs to be replaced by the T-58 Rhino and, more recently, the Hammer Tank. However, the massive losses sustained during recent conflicts has necessitated bringing the Anvil back into active service. Despite being hopelessly obsolete, the Anvil is still an effective combatant, reliable, tough and powerful, it can stand toe-to-toe with the Allied Guardian and still hold an appreciable chance of victory. It's used to flesh out the battle-lines of the Red Army armoured divisions, or to support infantry; indeed, once again it is a common sight to see Soviet infantry perched on the running boards of the venerable, but powerful, Anvil tank.
uh good model
In RA1 it looks like double barreled T-80 or T-62....
Yes, but we decided instead to make the Heavy tank look like an intermediate design step between the T-34 and the Hammer tank.
It kind of looks like a duck because of the height and uncovered treads...
Double barreled duck of death.
I think it must be a little lower. Because it will hard to hit tanks which not so high :)
The Soviets were never much to bother with such things. Large and intimidating is pretty much the Soviet way.
the UV co-ords on the front/back of the tank tracks are a little mesed up btw =)
Caught and fixed already! Thanks thought.
Is it possible to give the program name i really want to try this
3ds Max
December 29th, 2008... it will soon have been six years.
I don't even remember where I was six years ago... I've only been on ModDB since 2010. Ah, the passing of time. It's crazy.
And to wonder what could have been if people had cared more...
So long ago...
