Yep - you can't really build them as the hybrids but if you build it before you go marked of sajuuk you can still use it later.

Need I say more?

The Kadeshi have one fatal flaw we are all aware of: They rely soley on fighter class ships for... well... everything. No matter what you're doing, you'll have a ton - and I mean a ton - of Swarmers. If you've played the race, you'll know what I mean.

Now, the problem with relying mainly on fighters is they are incredibly vulnerable to area of effect weapons such as cluster missiles, flak missiles or flak cannons. Kadeshi tactitians, aware of this issue, sought a way to continue relying on the fighters... but giving their ships a mean to get up close before the enemy shreds them to bits.

In their native homespace - the Great Nebula - the fact that sensors were badly scrabmled by the nebula's EM radiation allowed them to get close undetected - and this is exactly the same phenomenon the Kadeshi make use of again.

By installing a Nebula Genrator module on a podship (replaces the earlier Shield Module) the Podship can be brought to emit an immense ammount of EM radiation that closely resembles the Kadeshi's homespace. These radiation clouds - which Kadeshi Sensors seem to be immune to - allow the faithful warriors of the Garden to get up close without being detected and shot to bits at long range.

Another benefit of the Nebula Generator is that ships not actively in combat will be hidden by the EM radiation provided the enemy does not have any ships with specialized sensors nearby. This gives you a way to dock and repair swarmers while close to a battle without the little ships being blown to bits the moment they slow to dock.

All in all, the Nebula Generator is key to this new generation of Kadeshi Tactics and allows any Kadeshi High Priest a great ammount of freedom when engaging his enemy - freedom they did not have outside their nebula before.
