I do know what you mean...and it looks kinda strange. It looks like it fires 6 shots of the Battlecruiser's main cannon! It looks way more powerful than it actually is...like it's intended for psychological warfare. :D
Is it still called a Disruptor Frigate?
Yep - it's primary function is still disrupting enemy sensors/lowering accuracy etc. which is arguably stronger than it's damage which only affects one target.
