Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
You know the ship well but it has had some minor modifications done - most notably the dinky plasma cannon was removed and replaced with a more powerful Nannite Lance.
The Seeker is now truly a menace on the battlefield. Anything small - meaning smaller than a frigate - will fall prey to it. If the beam doesn't find you, then it's drones will... and when they find you in your little tin can floating in space, they will kill you...
Fear the Seeker for he who seeks, shall find!
Nice.
Better - though I'd have gone for one of the existing progenitor turret styles, like those found on the Keeper, or a single barrel version of the Dreadnought turret.
I love sending one of these guys at an enemy resource operation. It chews those rescol's up quite nicely to halt enemy ship replacement.
I like the pulser alot better though.
I was thinking about that but the seeker was concieved as a mini-keeper and the PTV keepers use those turrets. Setting it up this way induces more of a 'small version of the keeper' feeling.
Added to that, I couldn't be bothered to model a new turret entirely with the lack of time I have at the moment. It may change someday, who knows?
