Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

That's because they are supposed to. Notice that the controllers in HL1 bare a striking resemblance to the Nihilanth. From the Half-Life Wiki's page on the Nihilanth:

"Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar states that the first part of the Nihilanth's name is reference to nihilism (from the Latin nihil, meaning nothing), while -anth is a common suffix that is related to flowers and is a reference to how his scalp peels open like a blossom." - Half-life.wikia.com

I do hope this enemies can be reappeared in many level after the project in the final production. Because, all I see this enemy only appearance is in the chapter of "We're not alone" only. No offence, that is the truth Anyway, keep up the good work.

I'm sure they will, this is a good model for only a cameo. Although their appearance would have to make since. Controllers only appear in xen or in areas with large amounts of portal activity. These guys could definitely appear in those secret xen levels that the player could reach via the displacer.

Looks brilliant, although the head doesn't look quite as round and bulbous as its original incarnation. Looks a little like a flower bud, but even so you've still captured their form well :)

The "head petals" have bones in them so they can curl inward and make a sphere or curl outward and make a flower shape.

Didn't they have some kind of cloth or rag around their pelvis? Other than that this is really good!

That was probably just a texture issue with the old game :/

But it might as well be, I always kill them too far away for me to see their corpses.

There actually was a loincloth they wore and it was red with black markings I think.
