Interesting effect, does this mean the pond in Dark Valley will expand or the ditches and basements in various levels will flood? Will our footsteps in this puddles be heard? Will there be a slow effect or possible slip effect depending on depth of puddle? Hmm streams, rivers, flash floods O my. This would definitely be a welcomed technology to the STALKER realm.

It's dynamic, appearance and grow speed of puddles depends on rain strength.
I must say this is truly awesome stuff!

Do characters make noise when they run through the dynamic puddles and does it effect the AI hearing you the way hitting a bush does?
Sad, but no, it's just a graphic feature, at least now.
What happens when rain puddles too high, and it flows over a physical barrier? Like, think of the roads that slope off into the grass, or some of the rooftops in the Bar area.
Will we see rain falling off ledges and dripping down?? That would be fricken amazing!!!
Dripping drops implementation is tricky so it's not currently in plans.
I hope the puddles can slowly evaporate if possible? It would be an amazing sight to see if water puddles could stay hours after it has rained.
Yes, that's the way they exists :) But evaporation takes a little bit less than hours.
Might as well flood the zone! XD
Damn, first game engine that allows people to creat dynamic puddles... Still more modern then the garbage we have today....
