The Combine Helicopter reimagined using the concept from Raising the Bar.

it looks very unbalanced even a combine synth gunship had its propeller approx in the middle and not in the rear
The Combine works in mysterious ways :)
That's probably why it was cut!
rotor is probably for propulsion as it could very well be using a dark energy powered anti grav or super conducting electro magnetic levitation system that utilizes the earths magnetic field ... you know since the Combine are always being depicted as making the most of whatever resources they find in whatever environment they are in.
Not only this, but, regarding the way the Combine are depicted, this design also follows the general line of asymmetry that is so common for Combine structures, that's what makes them easily recognizable.
As for the balance, a rear rotor is not the only way a helicopter can be balanced. For example, a fluid moving in the hoop around the rotor, in the opposite direction in relation to the rotor, thus counteracting the rotating force, shall make the vehicle stable as well.
It has two rotors one in the front under the cockpit and the other in the back.

would be cool if both dev teams loosely collaborated together on both their projects ... would certainly speed up development.
We tried collaborating with other mods before, it does not work out. Our vision and methods are too different.
Doesn't look terribly different from the retail helicopter, besides the rotor, main gun, and a few peripherals. I thought no one would actually use this version of the helicopter, though it is quite nice to see it actually made. Great job, keep it up guys!
BTW, I really love this version of the main gun)) three barrels justify the rate of fire. Also it's more detailed than the vanilla one. Installing it on the standard helicopter would be great ;)
I'm not even sure things like this are called helicopters anymore (I think there is a separate name for it...).
I heard the Combine chopper was huge and heavy in the concept,maybe you can put a soldier near the chopper to compare

For some reaon i really love this model. It make the helicopter look... I don't know... more... alien?
Is this model still available? Seems kind of waste to throw it away after its been modeled to never be used ever.
