The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.
Did a quick sawed-off version of this. Bit challenging to do cleanly without breaking the texture!
Base model/normals: SAM61
Holy **** that looks fantastic! Great work as allways :)
That scrollwork is fecking sexy. Nice one.
Almost can feel the touch :S
That...looks real. Wow, awesome job
Even when Mil says 'quick' or 'rushed' stuff is coming out absolutely amazing.
looks amazing but anyway you can make that sight bead look tacked on? Considering you did chop it down? If not thats fine still smexy as hell :3
Could you take off the remaining part of the stock so only the "pistol" grip is left? :P
It's much easier to cap off cleanly where it is (plus the vanilla BM-16 had that bump there - I kinda like it)
Eh, it's a lazy job (by the gun user who did it) when you think of it. You could make the sawn off piece on the stock lighter, non polished wood so it looks and feels more amateur, since sandpaper might as well be the only available thing to touch it up with.
My dad's sawn off Zastava O/U shotgun has that bit removed as well, so that's the reason I asked.
Leaving a bulge on the back end can improve balance and keep your hand from sliding off the back when the shotgun is shifting around. It may not look as clean, but it is a practical approach to the weapon.
I was wondering do you use the base model as a reference or is this made completely from ground up? BTW love your work Millenia I have play many of your mods since you first started modding and may I say you have really improved.
The vanilla models are horribly inaccurate and I hope nobody looks at them for any kind of reference, lol. I personally use only real world images for reference.
:) I agree entirely that the vanilla models are horrible and horribly inaccurate to their real life counter-parts.
We don't need wrists where we're going.
I never comment on Moddb, but holy **** that's sexy.
Very nice boomstick :)
that possibly will be my new favorite zombie gun :P
Amazing work as always!
Genuinely awesome!
That looks amazing. Such detail
I hope that with the existence of more than one type of sawed-off shotgun that one will find it's way to the sidearm slot.
My **** is diamonds.
...Fantastic brilliance!!! :D Perfect model
Best shotty.
