Description
Alpha Format part 2.
In this video, you can see a quest from old stalker, which many fan requested to be added in LA. This will take the player to the factory, to grab an artefact... it's some sort of test mission, before the storyline can begin. You can also see some parts of Darkscape level, where actor approaches from Cordon entrance, and goes deeper to the forest, also you might see the restored body-decals and the bloodsucker kiss in action at Rostok Factory. Stay tuned for the next episode :)

Got a question, will you fix that annoying stupid very fast sprinting speed, i mean, you go about 5 meters in 1 second!
its just for testing, i dont like to walk slowly. in release version it will be reduced to normal.

HEHEH! - i was watching this whilst cooking some spicy food - so the kitchen door was open to the night, my neighbours came around to ask what all the 'whooping' and cries of 'hell yeah' were about - only to discover my frying pan on fire and me glued to the screen of my laptop. OOPS!

I know that you are still developing, but are you going to be able to add Swamps and Generators back into the game? Those were absolutely stunning areas in the alpha. In fact when I first heard of SoC the screenies I saw all showed Generators, with the awesome map design there, but I was disappointed that they were cut from the final release.
Will you be able to re implement war-labs, as in X8?

Now just a little thing...the enemy-counter. It takes away a lot of tension when you dont know if there is maybe one last bloke hiding and waiting for you.
Im sure it can me modded out quite easily, but just felt to mention it. Im a HUD-minimalist and for my taste id remove the whole mini-map feature and just leave a tiny health and sprint bar, instead of these huge blocks blocking the nice view (and reminding me its a game hehe)
Further no ammo counter and other blinking effects.
And if you want to know where you are, youd'd have to open the PDA map which will then block your view as it would in real. BTW thats how i played CoP with Ceanos-mod.

Yes! adding an option to reduce number and size of data with HUD on would be simply great! Moreover, even if you minimize the HUD (with "-" key), NPC detection beep will still simplify your life...
The megaupload links in the description need fixing, as megaupload no longer exists. I really want to see that first quest video :(
