Very nice, love the details! But why are some female peasants dressed differently are the a new unit?

Thanks! The female unit with new clothes is the female version of the Roman citizen. The other female unit, with the original citizen graphics, is now the female version of the slave.

Interesting building. Is that supposed to be the Roman senate? I mean, the one with the internal garden? or am I right in assuming that it's actually a villa, based on what I can remember on Roman architecture?

RKC X is nearing completion. I've only just managed to finish the custom animation for some easter egg (how very paradoxical) units and once I export all the animations, the whole thing should be ready to ship on Friday. I've also been trying to put together something for Age of Darkness, but with very little success.

That one is a palace, based on the design of the Roman palace at Fishbourne in England. It will be a different building to the senate with a different role, which I'll be leaving to a future mod update.

Lemme guess ... you are concentrating on Republican-era Romans now, and the palace will gain some kind of ability in a later instalment, right? ;)

Funny how your Roman city looks, it kinda reminds me of the same buildings I developed for southern European factions in Age of Darkness...

The palace will be perfectly functional in the first release, as I am planning to make everything else functional for the first release.

The Hellenistic Era, like any other period in history, was not all about warfare. Thus we are working to give the more peaceful aspects of classical society the attention they deserve. Among other things, this comes in the form of new or redesigned units and buildings, some of which can be seen in this very picture.
