What is Infiltration?

Infiltration is an immersion into realism, driven by intense military combat, in a squad-based, mission-oriented shooter. Each of those missions brings the distinctive taste of multifaceted warfare in any environment you can imagine.
You will choose your gear prior to the mission, based on the kind of soldier you want to be. Decide from a cache of modern-day weapons, keeping in mind the size and weight of the equipment and how much you can carry. Each mission will allow you to become a unique soldier, based on the equipment and skill you contribute to the tasks at hand.
The different venues you will be called into won't have weapons and ammunition lying about. You must bring in what you can carry, and salvage what you need from comrades or the enemy.
We give you the tools to do the job. How you do it is up to you. Take the skills you learn in one battle to help you with future missions and objectives. If you become a talented sniper, it's because you develop the skill to use the weapon and tactics properly and effectively.
Keep in mind that these bullets are for real. One well placed shot, and you are out! Use common sense, pay attention to detail, and watch your buddy's back. The essence of teamwork separates the winners from the dead.
Take your missions seriously, and move with diligence. Running around aimlessly will only put your team, and the entire mission, at risk. Play it smart, and you might come out of this alive.

What do I need to play?
- A PC or Mac that can run Unreal Tournament
- Unreal Tournament (original) w/ 436 update patch
- Infiltration 2.9
- An arsenal of completely realistic weapons. Everything from the exact reload sound to the trajectory of spent shell casings have been meticulously recreated.
- Do you have a crosshair floating in front of you? I didn't think so. Just like any other soldier, you must bring your weapon up to your eye to aim through the weapons iron sights or scope.
- Completely new movement. You are forced to move at realistic speeds that range from walk to jog to sprint. You also have the ability to crouch, get in a prone position, and lean around corners.

"The so-far-unnamed next-generation Project"
Sentry Studios is currently working on the design and framework for its next release for one of the currently available post-UT99 engines, particularly promising are UT2K4 and Half Life 2. There has not been a definite engine decision yet as some of the hot candidates having been released in the last few months, there is more research to be done before a final decision will be made.
While checking out the SDK’s and resources available for the other engines out there, we are currently in the process of designing and modeling the basic assets to work with once the decision has been made, including the weapons and vehicles you see posted below. Please keep in mind that you should not assume anything you see rendered will end up in a final release.

Any way to modify the default amount of stamina?
Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for months of gaming on INF back in the days, really enjoyed the game. Never got a chanse to say thanks for it. But Thanks.
Anyone still have the latest version of this, including all of the (necessary) addons? All links to the recent version appear to be dead.

Damn, but this mod is awesome. The gun sounds are truly realistic as they are real recorded sounds? and the free aim feels like it should be. And the stamina and stance system, no longer unlimited bunny hopping. And your stamina lowers as you get hit. Now for the complaining: The weapon models are somewhat low poly, couldn't they be at least a little smoother? (by the way is this mod still wip?) for example, look at the mod Nali Weapons 3, they are high poly, but the mod still runs smooth. Or is it that the large arsenal would make a horrifyingly large mod if it was high(er) poly? The running animations are not the best, but that doesn't really matter. Also, what causes the weapon surfaces to weirdly wave when they are being reloaded or moved by the breathing/idle animations? Also the maps are not very polished and some have poor texturing/textures...Still a very good mod for the old Unreal Engine, and I'd give it a 8/10. If the mod isn't finished, then it's ofc understandable that it feels a little beta-like. And I had to groan about the features...Btw, this mod could/should be made to UT2004 IMO.

Yes just make sure you download the Infiltration CE though. A lot more user friendly.
Long live the gigatv network and the whole team deservers a big thanks ,i keep looking out for the new engine port ,hope you guys still got the feeling goin for cryengine or armed assault 3 (bf2??)!! if a compiler is required im allways here ^_^
