Excessive Unreal 2: Batshit Insane mod

Excessive Unreal 2 is one of the most chaotic, stupid, hilarious, and insane mods ever made for Unreal Tournament, and it has incredibly well-balanced, action-packed gameplay. Demo 3 consists of 15 playable maps, all of which have been thoroughly tested and refined for a long time now. If you like Serious Sam, Doom, and Unreal - especially when blended together in the most absurd (yet somehow perfect) way - this mod is for you.

Basically, Excessive Unreal is a combination of lots of things, but it all started when I first played Excessive Overkill for UT and fell in love with ridiculously overpowered weapons. I later decided to modify the entire Unreal campaign with my own fucked up monsters and let players use the Excessive arsenal. That was EXU, the original, and more of an experiment than a real mod.

Now, EXU2 is a lot more than I ever imagined it would be; it is a full-scale, high-quality mod which I have put all of my creative energy into. It's more than just a singleplayer campaign, too; you can use the weapons and items in multiplayer games, and even throw in EXU2's crazy pawns with Monsterspawn. The mod's flexibility and compatibility with other mutators and gametypes makes it incredibly versatile - you can probably use it in almost any setting you like.

EXU2: Batshit Insane, the singleplayer campaign, uses extremely heavily modified Unreal maps and creatures, but you'll barely recognize them. The story is set in Hell, and oh boy it's not a friendly environment at all. Yet, somehow, you manage to keep on truckin', as though some unseen force intends for you to persist in your struggle against endless hordes of demons. You aren't quite alone, either. It seems that a small group of military forces are stuck in Hell with you, but contact is difficult to maintain. It's ultimately up to you to save your own neck, but there may be times when allies lend a helping hand via long-range artillery, orbital bombardment, fighter and bomber attacks, or otherwise.
