The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

[I would still remove the forward windows (or reduce them / the area covered)]

I followed your advice, but i think it makes the ship look bigger, bigger than a destroyer as it's supposed to be.

The Homeworld ships were massive. I think this is excusable.

After all, a Hiigaran Battlecruiser would probably be classified as a Kushan Destroyer in terms of firepower.

@BleachDoctor: It depends on what scaling system you use. The majority accept the scaling system which results in the HW1 Heavy Cruisers being about the same size as HW2 Destroyers. Something about HW1 units being yards and HW2 units being meters. This image was generated using that scaling system:

It's been an ongoing debate, with several long threads on the RelicNews Forums.

I don't know if you are comparing the destroyer with other ships you've done so far (kushan frigates, taiidan heavy cruiser, ecc.) or just talking about the impression it gives you when you look at the lone ship...
Show us!
Having a picture of it is surely more revealing than just imaging it, I can't see the windows in that part but I could be wrong and your previous version could really be the best one. I don't really think so for now...

One thing I loved of Homeworld was the toughness of its ships anyway...

(Note: from the previous picture, your version appears a little longer in comparison to the classic one)

I didn't get your second part...

I couldn't have imagined it better. I like what you've done with the engines. And the turrets. And really, just about everything.
