Extract both files to your Homeworld2\Data folder (with WinRAR 5.0 or higher version) and read the PDF manual for installation.
Main changes from 3.7:
Visual fx overhaul -- many weapons now have better effects
New subsystems and techs:
New weapon subsystems added for Vaygr
Vaygr destroyer is now modular
Vaygr destroyers now can be equipped with smoke screen. Through upgrades, the smoke screen can achieve similar distractive role as the Hiigaran ECM
Most platforms now have experience
Probes and platforms now have fuel system -- they will no longer be able to move when the fuel is empty; research the relavant technology to unlock refueling ability
Improved performance -- this is done by implementing a cache system for all the split sobgroup functions to reduce computational load
Improved AI:
AI players will use their scouts and fighters to actively find crates
AI players will use their super long-range weapons to eliminate threat to their production capital ships
Fixed an issue where the AI players could stop building subsystems after a long time.
now there are images blocking the game. every time the system gives messages like (new years and research finished ) i went back to 3.7 juste because of this
What is the image your are talking about? Send a screenshot. The UI has been basically the same for a long time. If it's in 3.8, it's in 3.7 too.
There is never any image that tells you research is finished...
If you are talking about the accolades (which notify you about combat status), you can turn that off by clicking the "hide real-time accolades" button on top of your screen.
Any further plans about increasing the intensity of the dogfights?
Why fighters is SOOOO slow? Can there be like in... TFS?)
In skirmish settings, you can set the Unit Behaviour to realistic or fast.
With the realistic setting and all speed upgrades, your typical fighters can reach 1000+ m/s in combat (when afterburner is engaged). Is that still not fast enough for you?

That's really impossible to list (TOOOOOOOO LONG)! You won't know all the features of this mod even after hundreds of hours of playing because thousands of hours were spent in the making.
Dear Siliconworm ,the motherships in Simplex mod have ability be upgraded by superheavy weapons.They are like a Battleship now. For that reason can you make a present for fans of yours mod???...I mean to give a possibility to build to 3-4 pieces of motherships and use as Battleships.
I think it's possible for you increase the restriction from 1 to 3-4 matherships.... Can you make a present for us???
And for future I present you the idia:-Put in game the possibility to capture any productive ship(carier, shipyard оr mohership) with obtaining of captured ship's scientific(research) abilities...
I mean ,I'm Turanic Raiders and I will start the research of Hiigara or Vaygr or another abilities and to build the another ships...At the menu will appear one more (or 2-3)pages with "build"and"research"....And it will be the best mod in the world...
First, there can be only one Mothership, it's hardcoded and very hard to change without breaking the game. Secondly, tech tree is also hardcoded and there's a reason few mods have capturable tech tree. To work around that, I'll basically have to turn the mod into HWU mod, and all the codes will become extremely messy and inefficient, so perhaps not. These are good ideas though

Find your Homeworld 2 Classic folder and install it there following the instruction manual.
