Headcrab Mod is a cooperative mod where a survivor squad of combines soldiers is attacked by a horde of headcrabs who is leaded by a giant boss headcrab ! It is a cooperative mod simply because the headcrab team is controlled by the AI and that humans must join the humans team. Choose your equipments and  battle your way in hope to kill the most of headcrabs ! The headcrabs are not so hard to kill, few bullets and you've done with, even if you are out of ammo simply take your knife and kill them in one time. But be carrefull to not be surrounded or be sure you will have to be the faster one who get the hell out from here if you want to stay alive. Also be careful when your mates is attacked by an headcrab, first time you see him shooting at headcrabs, but the second, and often the last time you see him coming to you in hurry to shred you in smalls pieces ! Never forget that headcrabs are supposed to jump and to control their victims so, each time you get hurt by an headcrab, you have one chance out of ten to become a zombine ! Anyway, if you survive to this rampage, you will have to deal with the last head humpers and also with the boss headcrab, who is really not happy what you've done to his horde ! There shouldn't be any problems if you and your mates are ready to fight him, but if your alone... well... let's just say avoid to meet him and wait until your mates respawn to assist you !

Headcrab Mod is really different from all of those other zombie-based mods ! Forget the old time where you needed to shoot 1000 bullets to a zombie to kill him ! Forget the old time where when you get killed in the start of a round you have to wait nearly 5 minutes until the new round begin ! Headcrab Mod is new gameplay experience that you should really try. You have nothing to install to play this ! Just join one of the multiple servers that already run with the mod, download the models and join the rampage ! In this way, every server with Headcrab Mod is unique and will provide you a different gameplay experience ! Plus the mod is compatible with most of other scripts, so it allow you to add more specials stuffs :)

Hey no, don't think Headcrab Mod is die ! I just stooped temporally the development of Headcrab Mod in order to work for my other mod such as Omicron Combat and also another multiplayer mod. All of them are for Half-Life 2 and no more for CSS ! But I decided to go back to Headcrab Mod simply because, after a long time, I went into a server who runs with Headcrab Mod and it was hella fun. So I thought "Damned, this is a real nice mod, and it's me who made it ! I can't abandon this !"

So Headcrab Mod is back and the new version will include more than what was announced before. Because now, I know more about 3D Modeling/Animating, there will be more models ported from other Source games such as Half-Life Source or Half-Life 2 who wasn't available before for Counter-Strike Source !

I'm going to add the fast and the classic headcrab (fully functionals). The objective here is to recreate all headcrabs from Half-Life 2 with their models, health, speed and capacities for Counter-Strike Source. The zombine models will also get his original animation rather of the default CSS's one. Plus the Metro Cop and Elit Combines, all this will be the new models of Headcrab Mod 1.1.5.

For the version 1.2.0, I think that I will add Gonnarch as the boss headcrab. In fact the 1.2.0 will have all Half-Life 2 headcrabs, and to win the game, combines will have to eliminate 50~100 headcrabs to spawn Gonnarch. But before you can kill him, you will also have to deal with his guards (the current boss headcrabs !). But I can't tell you anymore about the 1.2.0 ;)

Personally, I think that zombies become bored to kill because you always need nearly 5 clips of hundred bullets to kill one of them, especially with Zombie Mod.

At my advise, zombies should always being more than humans, and should have always low health and low speed. Also, zombies should NOT being controlled by an human players (who prefer being a zombies rather of a survivors?). If I have added a zombie mode to Headcrab Mod, it is only to prevent from unfair camping ;)
