The team at zombiehorde.com are proud to present Zombie Horde v1.0, the often imitated premier Zombification plugin for Counter-Strike Source.
Since April 2005 we have been bringing the zombies to the Counter Strike scene for all to enjoy, this release is the culmination of two years work, and is vastly improved for better performance and greater compatibility with all server types.
At long last we have hit the 1.0 milestone. Like the undead, Zombie Horde has once again been resurrected to fight another day. After a long time of no updates, we are excited to release not only the Source Metamod versions of this great plugin, but also long sought after windows versions too!
Zombie Horde v1.0 features:
* Windows support
* Metamod:Source support (recommended)
* Major code overhaul and restructure by our new lead programmer, electronaut
* New 'Ghost' character...ride the lightning!
* Powerups
* Team balancer (to prevent zombie stacking)
* Player statistics
* In-built weapon restrictions
* Innumerable bug fixes
* New maps: zh_dark_cbbl_48 and zh_laststand_final
This game is incredibly fun, so if you like a competitive co-operative multiplayer experience....and love popping the heads off zombies, then get your server admin to install ZH or even set up your own LAN server and get cracking!

Sorry I haven't been here for ages - but RL has kept me busy and I have long since moved on from ZH.
Just to answer a possible question:
Q: Does ZH still work?
A: Yes! It works fine as long as you:
Follow the instructions in the README. The basic steps are to get a CS:S dedicated server operating. Install Metamod Source and get that working, then ZH.
Also make sure you use the following versions:
ZH 1061 - Games.internode.on.net
Metamod:Source version 1.4.3.656
Pay attention to the gameinfo.txt file. In the SearchPaths section, the first entry (before the first 'Game |gameinfo_path|.' line) must be:
GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
If anyone needs more support, you can try two things:
1) Visit Games.internode.on.net and post questions there.
2) visit #zh on irc.enterthegame.com and ask around. If you are patient enough, you might catch me there with the nick 'robot'.

i need help please :). ive added zhorde to my server, and im not retarded so i put addons/zombie_horde/bin/zh_mm... for those of you that put zh_mm4. and it loads all my mods and then it closes my console. please help. all help will be appreciated.
