The comment from earlyer
We said the texture looked very plastic and dull.
Looks more like a placeholder then anything.
there is no character to it, nothing that makes me think "wow this things gonna free the **** out of that planet"

Oh, for the CCS? This ones in almost complete shadow. Might lighten it a bit if its that much of a problem.

Canada, go ahead and add some more glowy bits to the Covenant sandbox. The space between hull plates would probably be a good spot. Eye candy is a good thing in this case, because it doesn't matter how detailed that texture is if we can't see it. Nice HUD elements too, I like them.

What does subsystem offline refer to? Are weapons disabled after taking damage? I thought the engine didn't allow for that.

No arguments about that.

a section of the ships system is offline... almost like if your kidney stopped working... (probably a bad example)

It's just a particle effect. Doesn't affect gameplay.

I must admit, I didn't think this idea would go well. Boy was I wrong! This looks great! Much better than I thought it would!

Did these replace the old flashing red circles that appeared when your ship was taking damage? Or am I completely wrong? lol

Ehh, I got to admit im skeptical about this, I personally hate it even in vanilla when these sorta things show up, kinda kills the immersion for me, plus it will be a mess when large numbers of ships are fighting but its your mod so do what you will

I'm curious too, how will the damage reports and such affect large scale fleet battles?
