We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

Yeah, its cool, You have to get a seperate thread on it as the other one is cluttered up too much.
Aren't You the one doing the Halo for SoaSE? : )
I must have gotten messed up. Isktau was a legendary Starcraft modder, so when I saw a post in his profile mentioning .scm's and all that I thought you were talking to him about Starcraft :)
First off, you clearly have no idea what you're doing. Starcraft is a ten year old game; it does not utilize 3D models. Instead all the graphics for it are rendered in 3D and converted to a 2 dimensional format that only shows one respective angle. It's a bit of a complicated process.
Secondly... .SCM's are Starcraft Map Files... You aren't going to notice any change at all if you modify those. How were you even under the impression that something would happen?
The main Starcraft data files are Stardat.mpq and Broodat.mpq. You need a program called WinMPQ to open them. If you want a little kickstart for modding, I might recommend you to here and here:
Warboards.org (List of programs and tools)
Warboards.org (Me clarifying on the program's functions).
I'm just posting this because I noticed your comment in IskatuMesk's profile and I felt compelled to say something :p
hey a small patch for the beta 0.2 is available at the beta testers lounge :).
Hey! On behalf of The Art of War mod team THANKS A LOT for putting our mod in your mod watch list :)
It means a lot for the team, thanks.
i didnt like the name
hey thanks for the mod watch.
You asked for a release date. It will be a while away because i need to complete the maps and also the new units and buildings but... you could be a beta tester because i pick people that take interest in my mod and mod watchers have an enormous more possibility of beta testing instead of the random people that ask to play it.
I sure will it looks fantastic it was my only problem with MEC cause it didn't have the original sides. Get back to work, scamp! :P
