This is Guard Duty. Put your feet in the shoes of Barney Calhoun, a security guard at the Black Mesa Research Facility who has no idea that the next few hours are going to change his life forever. Re-live the exciting adventure of Blue Shift, now re-created in the award winning Source engine.
An early work in progress shot from "DUTY CALLS" by: Conker and Aaagreen.
Splendid.
Is that the crane/lift jumping part? God, I hate that.
If you can tell us what exactly you hate on that, you should tell us :). We would like to see some ideas from our fans how we can improve the experience to make it more fun :)
Waiting on the cranes taking forever to move and lining them up in exactly the right place wasnt very fun...
Great map. Pain in the *** part though.
I don't know if it was a mess up on the mappers in opposing force and Blue shift or something wrong with the game, probably the mappers. Anyways in both those games everything was just a little too big, I'm really looking forward to Guard Duty and Operation Black Mesa to fix this little problem. So my input for this room would be, well to be honest this room doesn't make much seance, how do they get the crates to the top using to separate lifts, and why do the lifts come off the ceiling, lifts usually come off the floor using hydraulics, so there are my two cents on that. The only way I can see two lifts in two different spots are, they both go all the way up and all the way down and after the cascade either something is blocking one from going all the way down or is has glitched out. Bah anyways talk to me later Sugar ;D. I'll tell you more about it, for more of a facility stand point and a gamers stand point.
Too big? Bigger is better! Small cramped areas are not!
Any idea comments, let me shamelessly direct you all to our forum,
This mod looks promising, you shouldn't abandon it this time. Good luck.
